If you are between 15.5 and 17.5 years old and you want to get your learner's permit, you need to take a drivers ed course first. Coastline Academy's Drivers Ed course is DMV-certified, certificate included. You can get started right now, and when you're done with the course, we'll mail you a completion certificate that you can take to the DMV to take your written test. Once you pass your written test, you'll receive your permit, which allows you to take your driving lessons.
