How Many Points Can You Miss and Still Pass The Written Test For Nevada Driver's License?
In the state of Nevada, the driver's license test is administered by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. For this test, there are three parts to it: a written test, vision test and driving test. If you are about to take the written test and worried about how many points you need in order to pass, we take a look here.
Driver's Ed Requirements
For Nevada residents, the DMV requires that young motorists must first take a Driver's Ed course at a professional driving school, like Coastline Academy, or through their high school. You can start the Driver's Ed process when you are 15 1/2 years old.
Passing the Written Test
For the written test in Nevada, it consists of 50 questions. These questions will test you on your knowledge of traffic laws, highway signs and markings, road rules, road signs and safe driving practices. In order to pass the written exam, you need to answer 40 questions (80%) correctly.
If you want to brush up on your driving knowledge before your exam, you can use the Nevada Official Driver Handbook to help yourself prepare.
