Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Barton Creek focus on building a complete skill set for the area's unique terrain. Students start in quiet neighborhoods to learn fundamentals like smooth acceleration and turning. The local rolling hills provide an excellent environment for practicing precise steering and speed management, developing a keen sense of awareness essential for any new driver.
As skills grow, lessons progress to dynamic routes like TX-360 Loop. Navigating this road teaches how to merge and handle faster traffic safely. This experience builds the confidence needed for drives into Austin, making the transition from learner to licensed driver feel natural and preparing them for various routes throughout the region.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
